HomePatrol-1 Updates

Applying Updates

To update your HomePatrol-1's database or firmware, use the HomePatrol Sentinel program included with your HomePatrol-1.

Database Updates

The HomePatrol database is updated at least weekly. A new database is available every Monday morning after 9 am CDT. These updates incorporate all improvements to the database through Sunday evening.

Additionally, we might occasionally issue an update on other days if a major change has been made to the database.

Note that the database is dated as of the day before it becomes available. For example, if the database notification on the web site shows 10/8/2010, that update is available as of 9 am Central time on 10/9/2010.

Firmware Updates

Your HomePatrol-1's firmware is the program that controls how it works. We will occasionally provide updates to improve funcitonality or fix identified bugs. Below is a log of all updates and the improvements incorporated in each. Note that all updates include the improvements made in previous updates, so don't worry if you miss one.

2.06(06) Update

  • Add NAC information in Site Info frequency monitor and Trunk Analyze System Status.
  • Fix an issue where channels in the database were not recognized as known in Discovery Mode, even though the NAC or CTCSS/DCS matched.
