BCD160DN Firmware Updates

All firmware updates are applied using BC_VUP3. Download BC_VUP3 Firmware Updater for DMA Scanners. Unzip the file and then run the installer (Setup_BC_VUP.msi) to install this utility. Then, run the utility and follow the on-screen prompts to select the scanner model and firmware version to apply.

Version 2.00.03 Released 10/6/26

1. Support APCO P25 Phase I and Phase II decoding.

Note: This feature only decodes digital audio and does not follow trunk-tracking.

If you are configuring your scanner via a PC, Uniden BCD160DN,BCD260DN SS software version V2.00.00 or later is required.

Version 1.01.02 Released 6/12/24

The following fixes and improvements have been implemented.

1. When restarting in Service Search mode or Band Scope mode, NXDN 4800 cannot be decoded.
2. NXDN9600 Full rate cannot be decoded
3. More than 16 NXDN RANs cannot be Quick Saved.
4. When Color/RAN/Area is detected in Search mode after setting Tone/Code Search to "Color/RAN/Area" in Search options, the DMR or NX4 icon displayed next to Color/RAN/Area becomes blank.
