I just got off the phone with Uniden Parts (800-554-3988), and all parts I needed were in stock. Order successfully placed for the following parts for a BC346XT:

RCUN4C0405Z - Window Foam Gasket - $0.99

I would respectfully suggest that someone at Uniden figure out why I was told these were not sellable parts. What wound up only costing me $6.10 with free shipping, I almost wasted $60.00 plus shipping to send the entire unit back. That's over 10x the amount it cost me. Not cool, Uniden! 		Due to the assembly methods used, we strongly recommend against self-servicing on these parts. Having the unit in-hand, we can ensure that the unit will continue to serve your needs. Not knowing the extent of the damage, we cannot know whether the parts you ordered are all that are going to be needed to affect the repair (typically, the speaker assembly in the front cabinet is also replaced when replacing the front cabinet, and other parts might also be required beyond what you have ordered). That is a item that Uniden does not stock for sale so they wouldn't be able to get one for you. The boards are not complete so they wouldn't be able to get a complete board for you.

My suggestion would be to send it into the Uniden Service Center for repairs. The cost would be $59.99.

I'm looking for the mobile mounting bracket, as well as the volume/squelch potentiometer assembly and knobs; the squelch knob broke off and broke the potentiometer pin also, so the entire piece needs to be replaced. This rubber trim is not sold as a separate item, it is connected to the case parts. You would need to order the complete case part (rear case). The part number is GCAS2B9807B and they are in stock.

BC780XLT/UBC780XLT Is the volume/squelch potentiometer available for the UBC780XLT (EU version of BC780) Not having much luck with anywhere that isn't the other side of the world!
